Serengeti national park.
Serengeti national park is one of the most impressive natural events in the world. This is also one of the large national parks in northern Tanzania that stretches over 14763km2.The park was established in 1951 and it covers over5700 square miles. The park has vast land plains comprising of 1.5 million ha of savannah. Serengeti national park is well known for the huge herds of the wild beasts which range over 2million crossing the Mara river to masai Mara national park. This is the only park where vast land animal migration still takes place. The migration usually occurs year to year. However, most of the people predict that it normally occurs in the months of January to September. Serengeti national park has got over 2000 lions inside the park which act as predators to the wild beasts.
Serengeti national park has got well renovated and well looking camps, lodges, and hotels. These have to a larger extent contributed to an increased number of travelers coming into Tanzania for tours.

Tarangire national park.
This is so far the 6th largest national park in Tanzania covering over an area of 2600 square kilometers. The park is found in north of Tanzania and south of lake manyara. It also lies between the meadows of masai steppe to the south east and the lakes of the great rift valet to the north and west. The park is known for its largest number of herds of elephants and the mini wild life migration that takes place during the dry season. Within the northern part of Tarangire, there is a permanent river Tarangire. Tarangire river is the most dominant feature here and its after this river that the park was named.
Tarangire national park is dry and mostly drier than the Serengeti. In the months of June and October, the river attracts a vast number of elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and antelopes which also attracts very many people to come and see them.
During the months of the November and December, there is always rain which attracts a number of wild beasts such as the zebras, the leopards to mention but a few.
The well-constructed and well looking lodges have attracted very many tourists who have come to see the attractions in Tanzania. The lodges have hot balcony’s which give a great view of the Serengeti park , Zanzibar island to mention but a few.
Lake manyara national park.
The park is located in the northern part of Tanzania. It is just 126 kilometers west of the Arusha town. The national park is well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash. This lake attracts thousands of hippos and pink flamingos. The park is also one of Tanzania’s biggest elephant population and breathtaking scenery.
The park has a lake inside and that is Lake manyara which is an alkaline lake that swells up and reduces in size basing on the seasons found within a long silvery bowl of salt deposits. The park has got a number of animals such as the elephants, the wild beasts, the giraffes, the buffalos, zebras, impalas and the warthogs.
The lake has attracted very many people who have come for boat cruise, game viewing to mention but a few.
For the clients interested in game viewing, the best months are from December, to February and from May to July.
The park has also got very impressive and amazing lodges that have attracted very many tourists because of their balcony’s that help to give them a great view of the beautiful landscapes of Serengeti and other neighboring parks.
Arusha national park.
Arusha national park is small but varied with spectacular landscapes in the 3 district areas. The national park has a rich variety of wild life, but the visitors should not expect to view the same as in other national parks. The park has got the fallowing animals, the giraffes, the buffalos, the white colobus monkeys, the blue monkeys, the zebras and the warthogs. The park has got leopards but they are few in number and rarely seen. The park is also known as a wonderful birding destination. It has got birds such as the Narina trogon. This is because the park is small. Arusha national park lies on a 300-kilometer axis of Africa’s most famous national parks running from Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater in the west to Kilimanjaro national park in the east. The park covers mount Meru. This is the second highest peak in Tanzania after Mount Kilimanjaro.
Gombe national park.
This is one of the smallest national parks in Tanzanian near Kigoma city. Gombe national park is a 35 square kilometer park in Kigoma region in the north western Tanzania. It is most popularly known as the place where jane Goodall conducted her pioneering research on chimpanzees beginning in the 1960s.The park is known for Jane Good all, the resident primatologist who spent many years in its forests studying the behavior of the endangered chimpanzees.
Jane Goodall set up a small research station in Gombe in hopes of learning more about the behavior of our closest relatives.
