Day 1: Arusha- Karatu

Depending on your arrival time, you may have a brief tour of Arusha city to explore some of the iconic sites in the city like the museum among others. Have lunch and drive through the Iraqw tribe to Karatu situated just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The crater covers over 300 square kilometers of land and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Dinner and overnight at a lodge around Karatu.

Day 2: Karatu-Ngorongoro crater -karatu

Today you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend over 600 meters to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Picnic lunches will be served in the crater. Late afternoon, drive back to Karatu. Dinner and overnight at a lodge around Karatu.

Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to Olduvai Gorge a remarkable archeological site known to be the place where the earliest man’s remains where first discovered. Continue to Serengeti National Park arriving in park in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go game drive in the park to see some of the animals. Serengeti is a home to every variety of mammal from large animals, predators such as lions, leopards and cheetah to the smallest herbivores they prey on.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in Serengeti National Park.

Day 4: Full day Serengeti

Today you spend the whole day on game drive in this National Park, which is rich with all different species of animals. To maximize game viewing you will carry a picnic lunch with you and spend the full day in the Serengeti National Park. Later in the evening, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti to Lake Manyara

Rise up for morning breakfast. Thereafter, check out and drive to Lake Manyara a soda lake lying in the Rift valley. You will have lunch and, in the afternoon, go on game drive in lake Manyara National Park home of the tree climbing lions. Besides the vast landscape comprising of jungle, swamps and savannah, there are also large animals like the giraffes, Elephants, Gazelles, Hippos, monkey and over 400 different bird species. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Manyara- Arusha

After a relaxed morning breakfast, drive back to Arusha with enroute lunch before a drop off at the airport for your departure flight.
